Hi, We are St. Elizabeth’s School Council. We are always here, ready and waiting for your suggestions and ideas so that we can put them forward on your behalf and organise special events for everybody to enjoy.
Our main responsibilities are:
- Organising fund raising activities
- Writing the Children’s Newsletter
- Collating ideas from each of the classes
- Advertising our events
- Making sure children’s voices and opinions throughout the school are listened to and where possible acted upon.
We are always happy to hear your ideas, please put them in your class suggestion box or come and speak to one of us, St. Elizabeth’s School Council. Take a look at the Children in Need banner which we made to advertise our Children in Need day. It has everybody’s wishes on the spots.
Thank you to the parents who helped us organise a cake sale during our Cycling Event and the group of children who suggested to us that we have an extra non uniform day to raise money for Help Harry Help Others. This was a great success and we all enjoyed the day – you all looked very smart in your own clothes. We particularly liked the African and Indian dress which some of you wore with pride. Well done everybody!
We hope you enjoyed St. Elizabeth’s day. Well done to Year 6, the assembly was fabulous. Thank you to all those who wore house colours and participated in the games that we arranged. We all had great fun and raised almost £200 for Children in Need. Well Done Everybody!
