Our school Chaplaincy Team consists of 10 KS2 children who act as ‘Faith Ambassadors’ for our school and parish community. Every year, members of KS2 are invited to apply for the Chaplaincy Team and to complete an interview process with our two resident Sisters. Successful applicants are commissioned on St. Elizabeth’s Feast Day (17th November) at the end of our whole-school Mass.
Led by Mrs Shannon, our Chaplaincy Team are involved in many prayer-based activities, including leading liturgies during assemblies, supporting class prayers, and making links with other Catholic primary schools. The Chaplaincy Team meet once a week and share ideas about how to further develop the Catholic Life and prayer life of our school community.

One of the many roles and responsibilities of our Chaplaincy Team is to be a beacon of Faith and fellowship for all children within our school community. In particular, our Faith Ambassadors support other children on the playground with developing friendships, playing games, and with asking and answering questions of Faith. Their distinctive yellow bibs allow the Faith Ambassadors to be a clear and visible presence in and around school.
